March 10, 2026

PTNBH UIII Admissions is now open for Indonesian and International students

Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) held its Batch 1 Admissions Information Session on 10 March 2026 via Zoom, providing prospective students and applicants with essential guidance on the 2026/2027 admissions process, scholarship opportunities, academic programs, and application-account assistance.

The online session was organized to help applicants better understand each stage of the UIII admissions process. The Admissions Team presented information on administrative selection, document review, interviews, result announcements, and the documents applicants are required to submit through their respective accounts.

The session also provided a dedicated question-and-answer forum. Applicants were able to seek clarification and receive assistance regarding account access, document submission, application status, English-language requirements, study-program selection, and other administrative matters.

Participants were reminded to regularly check their application accounts, complete all required information, upload the necessary documents, and submit their applications within the official admissions timeline.

Newly Opened Faculty of Law

One of the major highlights of the session was the introduction of UIII’s newly opened Faculty of Law, which expands the university’s graduate academic offerings for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The Faculty of Law offers a two-year Master of Laws, or LL.M., program designed for law graduates and legal professionals. The program focuses on legal developments in the Muslim world and the Global South while maintaining an interdisciplinary, research-intensive, and internationally oriented academic environment.

Students may pursue two areas of concentration:

  • Environmental Law and Sustainability, covering areas such as international and comparative environmental law, climate-change law and energy transition, environmental governance and justice, and the relationship between ethics, religion, and sustainability.
  • Global and Transnational Law, covering public and private international law, comparative and global legal theory, trade, investment, human rights, cyber law, and Islamic law in the Muslim world.

The program is delivered in English and consists of 45 credits completed over two years. Applicants are expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in law or an equivalent qualification from an accredited university. The minimum English-language requirements are IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 80, or TOEFL ITP 550.

The Faculty of Law is supported by an international academic environment and an International Advisory Board comprising prominent legal scholars from leading universities and law schools worldwide. Through this new faculty, UIII aims to strengthen advanced legal education and contribute innovative perspectives to global jurisprudence.

Scholarship Opportunities

The Admissions Team also introduced several scholarship schemes available to eligible applicants, including the UIII Scholarship for Indonesian and international master’s students, the PEMRI–UIII Scholarship for Afghan applicants, and the LPDP–UIII doctoral scholarship program.

Participants also received information about the LPDP–UIII Dual Degree Affirmation pathway, which is intended for eligible applicants from designated affirmation regions, indigenous Papuans, applicants registered in Indonesia’s Social Welfare Integrated Database, and persons with disabilities.

The session explained the application procedures for candidates applying with or without a Letter of Acceptance. Applicants were advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria, language requirements, age limits, academic qualifications, and specific procedures applicable to each scholarship scheme.

Through the Batch 1 Admissions Information Session, UIII reaffirmed its commitment to providing applicants with clear information and practical assistance throughout the admissions process. Prospective students were encouraged to review all requirements carefully and complete any outstanding steps in their application accounts as soon as possible.

Further information about admissions, academic programs, the newly opened Faculty of Law, and scholarship opportunities is available through the official UIII admissions website.
