Who is eligible to apply to UIII?

Applicants need an undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree from an accredited institution for master’s programs, or a master’s degree for doctoral programs, with a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.

What programs does UIII offer?

UIII offers master’s and doctoral programs across six faculties: Islamic Studies, Social Sciences, Economics and Business, Education, Science and Technology, and Law. English is the language of instruction.

When is the application period?

For the 2026/2027 intake, applications are open 17 June – 17 July 2026, with results announced 1–5 August 2026. Apply only through the official portal at admissions.uiii.ac.id.

What are the English language requirements?

Master’s applicants: TOEFL iBT 80 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL ITP 525 (IELTS 6.5 for Law). Doctoral applicants: TOEFL iBT 94 / IELTS 6.5. Certificates must be issued within two years of the study start.

How much is the tuition?

Master’s: IDR 25,000,000 (approx. USD 1,500) per semester. Doctoral: IDR 30,000,000 (approx. USD 1,800) per semester.

Is there an application fee?

Yes — IDR 750,000 for Indonesian applicants and USD 50 for international applicants.

Are scholarships available?

Yes. Options include LPDP (Indonesian government), PEMRI–UIII, and INSANI–UIII for eligible international students. Recipients of a UIII scholarship may not hold other funding simultaneously.

What is the language of instruction at UIII?

English is the primary language of instruction across all programs, reinforcing UIII’s international orientation.

Can I apply to more than one program at the same time?

Applicants should apply to a single program per intake; refer to the official admissions portal for the current policy.
